A family adventure run like you've never seen before

A day that is finally truly about family

Running is for everyone: yes, feel free to bring the youngest member of your family with you, because they will enjoy it. Not a little, a lot. We are waiting for you with more than 10 easy-to-complete obstacles: there will be a bubble bath with a hot dog, crossing a rubber hill, but you can even admire a museum from the inside while running. Is the ambulance numero uno? It will be, you can even run through it before the finish line. Shall we continue? Well, the thing is, we think you have found the perfect September weekend family program.

You can become a charitable athlete when you register!

Our registration system offers a simple way to donate. When you register for events, the system automatically pops up one or more "charity products" assigned by us for the given event, which you can click on to support with 3000 HUF, add to your cart and pay with your registration. The basic amount can be multiplied with the "+" sign, just like in an online store, if you buy multiple pieces of a product. Regardless of the designation "charity products", they can also be purchased independently. At the end of the campaign, BSI, as a support intermediary, transfers the total amount collected to the beneficiary organization.

When registering for the Liget Adventure Run events - or even regardless of your registration - you can support the following charitable cause with your donation:

The Association's volunteers distribute 1,000 hot lunches to those in need every Sunday in many parts of the country.

  • All prepared runners can start the race, provided that they accept the conditions included in the event information and the GTC with their registration.
  • Due to the specifics of the route and the increased risk of accidents, wheelchair and handbike competitors are not allowed to participate in the race!
  • Due to the specifics of the route and the increased risk of accidents, runners with strollers are not allowed to participate in the race!
  • You cannot participate in the competition wearing spiked shoes!
  • Those shorter than 130 cm are not allowed to participate in the event due to the design of the obstacles.
  • A competitor who folds up, covers up, or does not wear their race number clearly visible from the front during the race may receive a 10-minute time penalty.
  • A competitor may be disqualified if, despite repeated warnings, he violates the rule regarding wearing a start number, does not complete the entire distance of the race - designated by the organizers - or submits his entry with inaccurate, incomplete, or untrue data, or does not use the chip for its intended purpose.
  • It is NOT RECOMMENDED that runners listen to or use any music or other player that dampens the noise of the outside world while running by plugging it into both ears at the same time. During the race, bicycle and motorcycle organizers work in the field, and ambulances and motorbikes are also available if necessary. The earphones suppress external noise, so the runner may hinder the previous runners and the organizers and medical team doing their work.
  • Roller skating, cycling, running without a race number, and running with a dog are prohibited in the race. Runners who start with a cyclist or roller skater may be excluded from the race.
  • We do not undertake any value retention in the competition.
  • Any commercial and advertising activities at the event venue may only be carried out with the prior permission of BSI, in a form and manner agreed in advance.
  • For organizational reasons, BSI reserves the right to limit the number of participants and close registration at any time.
  • BSI reserves the right to change the route, program and time.
  • In addition to all its physiological benefits, sports activity can also pose dangers, albeit to a very small extent.
  • It is important for you to consult a cardiologist or sports medicine doctor before performing at a higher level of performance to assess and evaluate any risk factors you may have and to rule out any possible diseases. Once these are determined, further testing may be necessary if you are placed in a higher cardiovascular risk group. The aim of these is to prevent even life-threatening events.
  • Only participate in a sporting event or more strenuous training that involves more than average demands if you have adequate endurance training.
  • If you have upper respiratory tract complaints, an illness accompanied by vomiting and/or diarrhea, a fever, or are injured, do not participate in the event or the upcoming training sessions until you have recovered.
  • If you are unsure about the right time to start again, consult your GP/sports doctor/orthopedic doctor/cardiologist.
  • If you experience any unusual symptoms (e.g. dizziness, fainting, unreasonably fast heartbeat, irregular heartbeat, choking, chest pain, chest tightness) while exercising, stop and seek help if necessary!
  • The above does not depend on the length of the sports activity, what constitutes serious performance is unique to each person. Be responsible for yourself, exercise smartly!
  • In order to effectively and quickly resolve any health issues that may arise during the event, IT IS MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE TO COMPLETE THE HEALTH SECTION ON THE BACK OF THE START NUMBER!

On the day of the event

It is always worth paying attention to the race announcer. Some things may change or be modified on the day of the race and this is the only way we can inform you about this on site.

Meeting point

We will set up „Meeting Point” beach flags at the event location so that fellow runners, schoolmates, relatives and supporters can meet up around them. If you are coming to the race with a group or class, this is a safe spot where you can meet up even in the large crowd. Before you start, coordinate the exact meeting place after the run with your fellow runners and chaperones!

Information

At all our events you will meet an information team who will help you find your way around, not only in relation to the given race. If you are interested in details of other BSI races, or would like to register for other running or walking distances of the year, look for the BSI information tent on site!

Lost children

The information tent can provide information about children who have been separated from their parents during the competition. We ask that you contact them for help and not the stage staff, as we cannot announce messages from those searching for lost persons on stage.

If you find a child who is thought to be lost, accompany them to the information tent!

In advance, you can request a wristband at the information tent, on which you can write the mobile number we can call if we encounter a child we believe is lost.

Running etiquette

Arrive on time! – to avoid the stress of waiting in line at the race center and changing rooms, to have time to meet up with friends you haven't seen in a while, or to meet new acquaintances and running companions.

If you are running with several other runners, do not take up the entire width of the road. If you hear someone trying to overtake you, pull over to the right as soon as possible and let them pass.

We ask that you keep the area of the competition center and the route, especially at the refreshment stations, clean! Use the waste containers provided and do not litter! Restoring the competition venue to its original condition is a very big task, thank you for helping our work with this!

information for the day of the event

The timeline here you will find.

You can find the competition center (bib number collection, registration) in the City Park, Nagyrét.

As a first step you have to call, you can choose a race during the registration process! Due to the characteristics of the course, the entire field cannot start at the same time – in other words, it would still be able to start, but there would probably be congestion at the first obstacles. Therefore 190 people per race number of people We determined how many participants the track could handle at a time.

Modify a race: You can do so in your own account until midnight on September 16th, subject to the availability of seats for the given race.

Log in to your account here, then the Profile > My Entries > My Current Entries in the menu, click on "„Change of Entry – Amendment” button.

The timing service provider is AGNI-Timing.

Timing is done with RFID chips attached to the back of the starting number.

 Rules for wearing bib numbers:

  • Wear your race number visibly throughout the race, on your stomach/chest (race number belt is allowed).
  • It is forbidden to cover the starting number.
  • Do not remove, fold, or pierce the chip on the back of your bib with a safety pin.
  • Make sure you wear your own race number during the race.
  • After arriving at your destination, please leave the measurement point as soon as possible.

To receive your start number, please prepare your registration confirmation in advance in digital or printed form!

At the event location:

You can pick it up on 2026.09.20.

  • at the earliest 1 hour before the start of the race

Parking:

Museum Underground Garage: parking in the City Park

Park comfortably in the Museum Underground Garage! One of our main goals with the implementation of the Liget Budapest Project is to renew and expand the park's green space and reduce car traffic in the park, which still poses a huge environmental burden on the wildlife of the City Park. As a first step, we have eliminated surface parking in the 56-osok square, and visitors can now use the Museum Underground Garage on Dózsa György út, which can accommodate approximately 800 cars on three levels. The unique feature of the new facility in Europe is that - reflecting the centuries-old connection between the City Park and the arts - the interior spaces of the underground garage evoke a masterpiece by 12 outstanding Hungarian masters from the collection of the National Gallery.

Event participants are entitled to 2 hours of free parking if they register in the LIGET+ system and validate their parking ticket at the Millennium House or at the information desk at the entrance to the Art Hall of the Ethnographic Museum.

Click here to find more information about the Museum Underground Garage..

The route includes the walking paths, landmarks, and other facilities of the City Park.

Explore the City Park by running, visit new and old, natural and built parts, and adventure in places you can't normally reach by running!

3.5 km, 15 adventures, let's see them in order!

Use the event interactive map of the location on your phone's Google Maps in the City Park, so you can easily find the locations of each experience within the park >>>

Click on the map for a larger resolution!

Adventure 1: Hide, hide, green branch

Don't get too excited, because you won't be running, but rather squatting, kneeling, or bending over, depending on your height. We'll show you what the inside of a water pipe element with a diameter of almost one meter looks like. Not one, but three, as you'll be starting with three of them next to each other.

Adventure 2: Gummihegy

After preparing the Tire Change, we were left with a small pile of tires. We gathered them into a pile, but we won't set them on fire, but we'll use them to disrupt the field. Find the easiest pass, while being careful not to leave your shoes in the pile!

Adventure 3: Smoke Tunnel

We'll smoke a little, but just enough so you have the strength to keep running.

Adventure 4: Bubble Tunnel

Whoever enters here, abandon all hope! You will be enriched with a lasting experience, the foam collected inside (unfortunately not cream) will accompany you on the track for a while.

Adventure 5: Vajdahunyad Castle Moat

At first we thought of closing the field into the lake here, but then we would have had to skip the next two adventures, as clothing dripping with water/mud is not appropriate in those. This leaves the lakeside walkways and piers. It's certainly a magnificent sight, especially if you don't run here often.

Adventure 6: Vajdahunyad Castle tour

The inner garden cloister is a real treat for runners, this part of the building complex is rarely visited, occasionally operating as an event venue. However, now it will be for runners for half a day, probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to run around it in a race.

Adventure 7: Agricultural Museum

Have you ever run to a museum? Or just walk out, wearing a mask, with a Van Gogh under your arm? Now is the opportunity for a quick visit, although we won't really delve into the exhibits, just passing by.

Adventure 8: Ikarus 280

If you run on a bus, you usually don't have a ticket and are chased by the inspector. This will now be completely legal, you jump on the front, run along the hinged side, and at the end you don't even have to signal to get off.

Adventure 9: Rubber Sea

Switch to kangaroo mode and grab your feet! We won't put a puppy in your purse, but we'll put car tires under your feet.

Adventure 10: Martmonkanna

Marmonkanna! If you've already overcome 18 obstacles, carrying a 5 or 10 l marmonkanna shouldn't be a problem, right?

Adventure 11: Ethnographic Museum – Crossing

Run through the building before you run up to the Roof Garden!

Adventure 12: Ethnographic Museum – Roof Garden

Have you been to the new Ethnographic Museum? Of course, that's where you come from! Now you can try out the panorama of the institution!
Running on stairs is a dangerous activity, please watch your feet! Each participant may use the staircase sculpture at their own risk.

Adventure 13: Hungarian Music House

We hope they are playing from your score here now!

Fotó:magyarzenehaza.hu

Adventure 14: Trashing

When the request is made, "Honey, would you take out the trash?" you probably do the same at home. If not, then it's time to learn how to move around quickly with the trash can. We give it to you, and you push it, pull it, hold it under your arm, it doesn't matter. The main thing is to get it around the nearly 100-meter track.

Adventure 15: Ambulance

Have you ever run through an ambulance? But it will definitely be a perfect ending experience at the end of the 7 km. Don't stay inside if you feel sick at the end of the run, the unique medal will make you feel better!

You can refresh yourself with water before the start and after reaching the finish line.

There will be 1 water refreshment point along the 3.5 km route.

There is no option to submit a custom refresher.

  • The time limit for the 3.5 km distance is 45 minutes.

The number of participants for each race is 190 people, and registration for the given race will automatically stop when the limit is reached.

There is no prize at the event.
